Conquest is to me the best mode on Battlefield. Multiple vehicles, land sea and air, capturing points / getting flags. A true team atmosphere, and when not a steam roll can be one of the best video game experiences (imho) outside of the earty 80s arcade games. Destructible environments add a variable of uniqueness for each game. Levelution is cool dont get me wrong, but its on rails essentially, making it a sight seeing thing like a ghost house ride at a theme park. Not like individual things the player interacts with. I also think this and the water gave Battlefield 4 much of its longevity and replay value.
"Run around for five minutes." Battlefield 4 remedied this by having little stuff all over the maps, motorcycles, jet skis and rhibs for water maps, jeeps. And that is the thing, I think it was just the idea of interaction of being able to walk up and press E and interact. Elevators, Doors, little bulldozes/ back hoes, Cars, Trucks,
