Hey, so just in case you're like me and swapped from Win11 to Linux recently, you ought to know that this game doesn't work. It throws an error on init. I can't find anything in the store page that says this, and filtering my steam library for games that can be played on Linux doesn't hide this game.
So that's disappointing.
Yes, I can probably still play on a dual-boot Win11 distro, but I'm a bit annoyed that its my only solution to play this again.

Yes its because BF6 uses elevated permission kernel level anticheat that can not reliably be installed on Linux due to Linux allowing the user unfettered access to kernel level permission settings.
Hopefully if Linux gets more users, developers will consider Linux more when it comes to anticheat alternatives. We have jumped from 3% to 5% of desktop users in the last 2 years alone
