FPS loss after the T4 Update and Lack of Players in Multiplayer?

Hello everyone,
I know I'm not the only one who's experienced a significant FPS drop since the T4 update. I just wanted to share my experience.
I hadn't played Battlefield 6 since the end of Season 1. I reinstalled the game now that Season 4 is out (I only play multiplayer; I don't even have REDSEC installed), and I configured the graphics exactly the same way I had them back in Season 1: everything set to Low except Texture Filtering (Anisotropic), which is set to Ultra. I play at native 1440p with DLSS disabled and DLAA enabled for anti-aliasing.
After playing just one Breakthrough match on the Manhattan Bridge map, I can already confirm that the FPS loss compared to the last time I played this map in Season 1 is massive. I'm talking about a drop of around 30 FPS or even more in certain situations, with the game randomly dropping as low as 56 FPS. Back in Season 1, I was getting around 90–110 FPS on this map. Now the game struggles to go above 80 FPS, even under the best conditions.
I don't use any overlays (they're all disabled), and none of my hardware is overclocked.
I already had a bad feeling when I noticed I was getting 10–20 FPS less even in the firing range.
Seriously, what are you doing with this game? Honestly, it feels like the studios that make up Battlefield Studios aren't communicating with each other properly. This just isn't normal.
Fortunately, I haven't experienced any crashes or stuttering yet (I haven't even tried the new naval map, just to be safe). Instead, I've run into several ridiculous menu bugs, and some of them still haven't been fixed even though they were already present when I stopped playing at the end of Season 1.
Overall, I'm very disappointed with my return to the game.

-32 GB DDR4-3600 cl16
-MSI B550 Gaming Plus
-Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe SSD
-Gigabyte RTX 4060 Gaming OC (Triple Fan)
One more thing: where are all the players?
Steam alone shows over 50,000 players online, not including the EA App or other platforms. Yet the multiplayer matchmaking seems to struggle to fill every match. Is everyone just playing REDSEC instead?
