Keyboard movement issues.

Hi All. Wonder if any of you guys can help. I'm at my whit's end with an issue I've been experiencing ever since I upgraded to a RTX 5080. Since the upgrade from a 3080ti my character keeps moving and doesn't register me lifting my finger off the keys- it's like it's constantly moving and is starting to get annoying. I thought it was my keyboard but I've tried everything- swapping to different keyboards, USB cables, plugging directly into the red USB ports in the rear of the pc, reinstalling my gpu drivers literally everything apart from switching back to the 3080ti. I've noticed it's happening on Halo Campaign evolved but not as much. Any ideas on what to do?
PC specs:
Intel 14700k
GPU 5080
PSU Corsair RM 1000e
32gb Ram
2GB WD NVME SSD

When you swapped keyboard , did you plug it back into same usb slot? If not your keyboard then maybe try different usb slot.
I doubt its anything todo with your upgrade.
Maybe try go to cmd as admin and enter sfc /scannow then press enter.
Since it happens in other games its not a bf6 issue otherwise maybe a keybind issue( like in your keyboard software)?
Thats a weird issues to have and I would assume if happen to me that it's either the Keyboard, usb slot or keyboard software.
Do you have any contollers racing wheel , etc plugged in? If so unplug any usb devices just to troubleshoot .
GL and if you find fix , post it for others.

I've tried plugging into different usb slots with different cables. Its' happening on different keyboards too. I've tried resetting drivers and reduced the polling rates to 1000mhz too. Nothing seems to work. It doesn't seem to effect anything else apart from the keyboards?

Go to google ai or another ai and type you're problem.
I put this - Playing on pc with keyboard and 2 different games and 2 different keyboards , inside games my character walks forward like holding w key. Any ideas?
try what answers it gives. There is a few decent troubleshooting ideas it gives. like unplug any usb devices , keybinds for auto run, overlay issues. Imo since you tried 2 keyboards its not a hardware issues and back to what I said earlier it's prob a keyboard software issue or conflict. Troubleshoot everything bro, make sure no usb devices are plugged in except mouse and keyboard. Maybe try cpu chipset drivers( grab from intel not you're mobo website.
Try updating you're keyboard software. GL

Try pressing the Shift Key five times; you may have accidentally turned on the Accessibility option called Sticky Keys, and this will turn that off. Thanks EA_Barry.

Already did. I tried everything its suggested apart from swapping out the 5080. It's just repeating itself now. Last thing I tried was using DDU driver and reinstalling the drivers in safe mode and it still there. I've removed all start-up programmes and turned them back one by one to see if that did anything. I though it was NZXT CAM- but when I uninstalled it- the issue is still there.

Well that sucks, Sry I wasn't much help. Doubt it would help , but can you delete your bf6 cache and dx caches, good to do when you change drivers also.
Appdata/local/bf6/cache
appdata/local/nvidia/ dx and Gl caches
in all 3 of those delete what's in the caches.
(its not you 5080!) I play on msi 5080 and it's great .

i had this problem aswell but in BF4. I solved this problem in the windows keyboard setting with reducing the amount of actions a pressed key will do by 50%. And i never had this problem again.

Desynic and lag it's the crappy netcode, there is nothing wrong with your hardware I get the same issue and I have a 40x card. The current season had issues with Nvidia 50X cards it appears that driver version 610.88 seems to have fixed it for many.

Ahhh Okk thanks for confirming that. It's strange as I never had it when I had the 3080 ti installed
