How could this game still be so bad?

Matchingmaking is completely nonexistant, every match is one sided
STILL no hit reg to speak of
STILL no footstep audio
The only stat that matters on any full auto gun is fire rate, that's it, end of story, you dont have to look at anything else. Your gun shoots more bullets than the other guy's? You win.
Map design pretty much leaves zero room for defensive LMG play
Every gun feels like a laser beam, which makes the no hit reg even more apparent when you get 15 hit markers on someone and on the death screen they're still at 70% hp.
I've never been more frustrated playing any other battlefield, even 5.

I'm just trying to enjoy the game even tho 15-25% of all my bullets not Hit reg. the footsteps are very frustrating sometime. when you hear team mates screaming on other side of the map and hearing explosion cross map something is very wrong. and you ain't able to hear a guy sprinting next to you. but this issue will never be fixed. got back from a 7 month break was hoping to see anything that got fixed under that time. but no. guessing they don't even bothering trying to fix the issue that are they just launching new maps,weap,gadgets and hoping people coming back or keep playing.

Same here, I was so disgusted by the game at launch that I only played 16 hours then quit. I just started playing again and it's still the same garbage
I think what the world needs right now is Planetside 3 XD

clowns will be clowns.....2042 is the only reason i have hope for this game....it took 2 years to fix 2042.....it could take years with how bad this game is.....

now i do agree with the bullet hit reg, I get all the hit markers to show i have hit the target but after almost emptying a hole clip into the target i may get the kill.
now when i set my gun up and test it on the fireing range, ttk and recoil is just how i expect ingame, but no where near. somehow ingame there is another different recoil in game and everyone is wearing a bullet proof vets.
