Long update Downloads Suddenly (Added update on this)

UPDATE at end
I have seen some on Reddit mentioned the long updates. I am literally getting 12-15 hours updates, sometimes it says 2 days. It is the only game with this issue, and it started for me about 3-4 updates ago. I will be uninstalling it for the time until there is a fix.
Before you give me the run down "answers"
1) I have SSD
2) I have tried all the "fixes" I could find
3) I have uninstalled and reinstalled- still 12 hours to install
4) My Internet is great
I believe I am not the only one suffering from this, so I hope the devs fix. I enjoy the game a lot, but I am not going to stress over this.

UPDATE: It seems that the issue is with the ATLANTA servers. The Closest server to me. When I use DENVER, I am getting games downloaded fast now. No issues, clean and quick. I re-downloaded BF6, the Atlanta server said it would take 2 days while the DENVER one took less that 45 min to download the whole game.
To clarify, I did try other servers (Philly, Charlotte, Miami, and one other), they all had the same issues. Slow and LONG.
If there is a BF6 dev reading this update, you all need to fix your Atlanta server.

I'm in the same boat. The downloading part of the update is done but the patching is taking over 8 hours even though it's on my SSD.

What ssd's do u guys have? mine installs pretty fast even though is little bit outdated : samsung 970 evo plus 500gb and 2tb

The main issue is... it started more recently. I have been playing BF6 since it came out, and never had the issue. But the last 2 updates, suddenly now I have a 12 hour + wait. I am uncertain as to why. I have lived in the same area 3 years now with no issues.

I am having the exact same issue that you are describing. I have cleared local cache, changed my download region, verified integrity of game files, uninstalling and reinstalling. to no effect. still have a 12+ hour download time. It started happening like 3 updates back and only to this game. internet has not changed and initially it only took a few hours to download the game originally. So this 12 hour download make's no sense especially considering this update was only supposed to be like 30 something GB... ugh, I guess I won't be playing this game anytime soon.

So now I am going to give Delta Force a try again. Hopefully if there are enough people sharing the same problem the Devs will try and fix it.

Please start releasing bug fixes DICE. Im tired of dealing with all the bugs every day. Give the people what they paid for. Bug fixes more importend then content atm!

Do you use a VPN? If not the isp could just be screwing with you because of the large downloads for bf6. Have you bothered to check task manager during a download to see if the speeds are at least roughly typical for you? How full is the SSD, if it’s >75% or so wouldn’t surprise me if that would cause some problems.

Honestly I am going back to Battlefield 4. Not broken, better gameplay, and still many full servers to enjoy. I had VERY high hopes for BF6, but honestly, I have been disappointed with every update since launch. Maybe in a few years they will have a better game, and I can actually download it, LOL.

If you don't have enough space on SSD, and you have another Steam Library folder on a slower drive, it will download and do the patching from the slow drive

Good to know, not my issue here... I HAVE plenty of space.
