Battlefield 6 lost it's soul long ago

It’s sad to see how this series has changed. The current multiplayer experience in Conquest is deeply disappointing. The marketing was simply misleading. What kind of *Battlefield* is this?
It’s all about speed now. There is no teamplay. How could this franchise "degenerate" so much into a *Call of Duty* clone?
I miss the days when the game was tactical and played at a slower pace.
Capturing and holding a point felt meaningful—partly because of the journey to get there and the lack of constant reinforcements on-site. Now, the points are too close together for it to matter; it’s just a steady stream of mindless, repetitive waves of attackers until the tide turns.
It’s chaotic, with little to no teamwork.
I can easily imagine the likes of that "BurnedPeanut" guy getting a kick out of this; fast-paced action and "main character syndrome" go hand in hand, after all.
This garbage bears no resemblance to that anymore.

That streamer and all his trog fans are who the game is probably made for.
Conquest on the reef map is the closest to old battlefield by far. Need more big maps like that. Golmud has always sucked (especially infantry) I don’t understand the hype

Map design has been like this since at least BF3 and pretty much ever since battlefield started on console about 17 years ago!

Sure and everyone had his motor bike back than to slide into action

Maybe Counter Strike is more your pace?

I wouldn't compare those both. Battlefield always had the all out warfare experience. Counterstrike is limited in what it does compared to the possibilities of a map with vehicles.
However I wouldn't complain if they would have just given this another name, because It's just not battlefield to me :/

As soon as EA bought the battlefield IP the game was going to die. Dont forget EA bought battlefield to compete with COD.
They should of bought Unreal Tournament instead.

The game was marketed off nostalgia bait and it worked. Content Creators also heavily shilled it and people believed it. Writing was on the wall that it was just a 2042 asset flip. Crazy to think that BF5 for all it's faults has more in connection to "Battlefield" then BF-6.
Battle Field 7 will likely also be heavily marketed off with nostalgia baits with "this time for real". And content creators will go along with it naturally.

Maybe CS is not all-out warfare but the pace is by far slower.
The community changed since it became Mainstream ( to play), which results in anti-team behaviour. That was important in big maps with vehicles. If you want to try, test bf2042! There is a reason it’s registered under ”walking simulator”..
