Thanks for reporting this.
If the helicopter gunner aim assist is snapping to trees, bushes, or other environmental objects instead of staying on ground targets, that definitely doesn't sound like the intended behavior.
Just to help narrow it down:
Does this happen consistently with both the Black Hawk minigun and the Apache gunner?
Is it happening on all maps or only specific ones?
Does it occur every time you're circling ground targets, or only in areas with dense vegetation?

Me and my friends both having the same issue and its on all maps i believe there is some sort of assist that helps keep the gunner sights on one spot on the ground but when we are doing fast rotations on a spot if a tree or light pole or even some one jumps out of the heli it snaps the sights off the area we are aiming, we have had this issue since launch but we are playing alot of transport heli on the new reef map and its real bad on the D flag with all the high trees, this also only happens when we are zooming in with the sights, free aiming is perfect.

Auto aim for players i have set to zero it tries to hard to follow bodies and messes up the aim, I'm trying to turn it all off so that its all set to free aim and no assist like locking on to trees and bushes, i want it to be like back in bfbc2 don't need a cronus i do good enough in lobbies.
