Since the last two updates, I constantly lose gunfights to low-level players almost every time. It almost never happened to me before those updates, otherwise I would have noticed it. It got even worse with the Season 4 update... What the hell, seriously?
I'm level 300 and I'm almost always at the top of the scoreboard, and now I'm getting obliterated by low-level players. I shoot first, and I often use movement to make it harder for them to hit me, yet I still lose almost every time. It drives me crazy.
Very often, when I check the damage log, it shows something like four hits for 15 damage each, and I'm dead.
That would be the biggest L move from DICE if they really did this.
Would they really ruin the game for high-level/veteran players just for the money, so that low-level players won't stop playing because they keep getting destroyed by us?

This sounds like some tinfoil hat conspiracy, your best bet is using a game recorder and show some proof, because as of know you sound stingy you're getting killed by lower level players.

i dont think its conspiracy but i can confirm i loose ALOT fights even i see them first and start blasting. maybe we see a new wave of cheaters with new lower level accounts? again not saying something fishy is going on but i do realize that as well. maybe all the pro gamer are online due to new season? i am level 260 now and constantly getting dropped by level 20 player with joypad. i still have fun at the game so i dont really mind. if i am just bad so be it. just telling what i feel.

There are multiple factors, cheaters could be one for sure, other stuff could be High ping abusers, controllers have aim assits and since they reduced limb damage and increased HS damage multiplier lucky HS flicks are now a thing, that is all without mentioning the weapons used.
On top of that the majority of player play all kinds of FPS games, level is not that much of a skill indicator anymore, especially that BF6 Gunplay is very straightforward.
As for foul play i am not so sure about that.

i have had low levels eat 10 bullets from close range and then i move to next target only to realize low level not dead and when he kills me he has 80% health left . i think its a game feature so low levels dont get run off right when they try the game . i have also noticed bloom on my guns is different round to round , some games bloom is crazy and others its a laser beam . this game isnt competitive , its a everybody has a good time game. ea wants to sell skins and if you dont have fun you aint spending no money

cod is competitive, bf is sandbox, always has been. no one cares about who 'wins'. if you can drop in/drop out in bf, but you cant in cod, that should already tell you what you need to know. either enjoy 'arma-lite' or dont, i dont know what to tell you, its been this way since bf2:modern combat. i cant even get in due to the broken amd release.

I honestly think this is the impact of the limb multipliers, adding on top to any pre-existing latency and sync related factors, assuming you're not just missing the target completely.
If a couple of your bullets hit anything except the head or upper chest, and your opponent hits all theirs upper chest, it's perfectly viable that they kill you first.
I don't buy the line "I lose almost every time". I experience moments of frustration every time I play this - there are plenty of moments I feel I should win the fight, or I'm wondering how they knew where I was. However, my stats suggest that more often than not I'm the one dishing it out and I try to remind myself of that.
If you say you're always at the top of the score board then I'd imagine you're the same as me and you're quite simply exaggerating out of frustration.
Occam's razor says the most likely explanation is the simplest one. The simple explanation here is the damage modifiers. That's what's different this season. That's the obvious explanation.

I noticed it also, and I also see much of it is either players with very high or low ping. It is like PC players with good internet signal, are the ones getting punished.

We have aim assist on PC, but like you said, it is nowhere near the level that console players have. It is like BF6 is a console first, PC players second, style game, even though PC gaming is the fastest growing method of gaming.

Thats not my point nor did i say PC have the same level of aim assist, ive used controller on both PC and console, and its not as near as good as you think it is...but ofc people just NEEDS to blame on everything rather themselfs...its like its 100% auto excuse and its childish.
And considering the scoreboard most people have bad stats, you are all those people...get bad stats and come to forum and whine and excuse your bad stats in every way you can
This is me included, but i dont blame my bad stats on crap...l2p as im currently doing

adding more rng makes gunfights more reliable on luck wich causes the game to be more balanced. its the way EA is conducting bf now and they do it for fifa for years. disgusting I know but some unskilled players love rng because of it. they force everyone to be mid. that`s why this game has so low headshot multiplier, forces everyone to play the same way. I think this BF is for people that does not like FPS.

I also only die to new players or during certain phases of the match I appear to be nerfed, specifically towards near end of game the catch up mechanic activates and nerfs the most influential players in the match to provide a chance for other team.
