I’m uninstalling the worst Battlefield of all time!

ibujd · 28 Jul 2026 at 15:17 · permalink

Never in my entire life as a FPS player have I played such a disloyal and infamous game as Battlefield, which does everything it takes to ensure that we die as quickly as possible thanks to an infamous assistance system and totally unbalanced games, because the losers in the game will be there to lose throughout. of the game because Battlefield makes sure that the dominant camp, dominates the whole game...
The tanks are too overprotected in this game, which makes the experience just as infamous for the infantry who has no chance because of this ignoble location. You want to try to destroy a tank, but it’s impossible at 99% because tanks locate you as easily as a player so they can one-shot you without any difficulty...
EA really fell down by wanting to search for Call of Duty instead of making the real Battlefield. Thank you EA by the way, you sold me the next Call of Duty and cooled it down for the next Battlefield. Battlefield is no longer an experience, it has become a pain!
So, goodbye the Battlefield so broken!!!

I think, they are going to make a 7, and 7 will be a perfected 6. Possibly I imagine in the same way Battlefield 4 was a perfected 3, at least imho. IF they do it right, 7 has the potential to be the best Battlefield yet.
The Battlefield games usually have a rocky start and get ironed out as time goes by. I seen a comment that they are "ten months" into it. And I thought really is that all? These updates feel very late stage. Like the Naval Strike maps. Why didn't they offer the gun boats off the jump for this game?
I would think even the COD folks would have really liked that and admired it. To show players like "hey you can really control this stuff its not just on rails". But as your post also suggest, if players are coming to Battlefield in 2025 or 2026 they have missed a lot. Player controllable aircraft carriers, submarines, destroyers. B-17 flying fortress with multiple seats positions for many players. Dv-15 and RCB-90 gunboats with a player with a cannon and TV missile, two minigun players on the back, another player on repair at the very back.
Those multi seat vehicles also seem to be a big part of the Battlefield DNA overall. Whether its a C-130, a B-17 bomber, a transport heli, gun boats.
Things get more corrupted or degraded over time. Pandemics Battlefront 2 2005, the AtAts could be fully controlled, they were not on rails. X-wings and Tie fighters were Vtols. Could be landed and got out of. Flying in and out of hangers between Capital ships had more of the films atmosphere though maybe not realistic or even cannon. EA seems to have disregarded most of that for the sake of uniformity.
I mean, you never see the Tie or X wing pilots parachute out. My answer to that that I thought they could possibly have done was a special suit that slows the fall like a parachute but not, just a high technology macguffin. Cause it was shown in the films that Vaders suit had him fall slower.

so im guessing you never played Bf3 cause Bf4 was a downgrade ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not a game. Bf3 was way better than 4 on all levels. Vehicle feel, jets, choppers guns, Bf4 was trash compared to Bf3

hardline had a bad rap because the so called veterans cried about it not being a real BF game, if they played it and took it for what it was a cops and robbers game set in the BF universe then it would have done so much better.
MP was solid only map i hated was the block which was a metro style cluster map with way worse layout lol

They did this one with this BF6, in the end, this game became a pure betrayal towards the Battlefield community because they preferred to go after the Call of Duty players...

Never played BF3? Take me for a tourist do you?
A downgrade? WOW..........
Vehicles handled worse than three? No, perhaps it is YOU that never actually played 4.?
Else you would not make such ridiculous claims. You are clearly trolling sir. OR, that is just actually your opinion, I can respect that, though it makes zero sense to me.
I think many need to take off the rose colored glasses when it comes to 3 and look at the bigger picture. It was revolutionary at the time. But it too was in many ways appealing to COD fans just like this game did. Up to that point Battlefield was big but it was not high detail close quarters like COD. 3 showed that they could do COD and Battlefield as well. Choppers not on rails or automated.
History has shown there have been many polished things that came after a new something. Especially in games. Mortal Kombat 1 and then Mortal Kombat 2, much more streamlined, better controls and animation.
Windows Vista - Windows 7 - again same thing.
Side question, why is it like EA holds an invisible patent on big sand box multiplayer war games? The only games that seemed to come close to Battlefield's epic scale and multi vehicle theater imo were Crysis Wars and Enemy Territory Quake Wars. Both were EA. Did Crysis Wars have jets or was it just Vtols? To my knowledge not many multiplayer games like Battlefield feature actual player controllable jets.

what do you expect, its a franchise that wants to expand its player base, many people that play BF also play CoD and many other FPS titles, it makes sense for them to try to pull in other FPS games players especially when they are not doing so well.
a lot of the people that openly complain are not the majority of the real BF player base and a lot of the things they complain about are not the always the real issues the player base cares about, the PC player base makes up a very small amount of the BF community with console being the real majority.
also add to that that in most BF titles the small infantry only or small map with no air vehicles or MBTs tend to be some of the most popular maps, metro, grand bazaar, op locker ect, sure some large maps are fantastic and are fan favourites, Caspian border, strike at kirkhand, wake island ect. however the mistake that BF6 made was not mixing both and instead of just going with smaller maps.
the sad part is BF6 could have been the "we are so back" title, don't get me wrong its a good game, it looks decent, it did play well( imo after the gunplay update its now in a worse state game play wise) maps are getting better so BF7 might be a decent game.
