How are you supposed to actually destroy aircrafts or assist in them?
99% of the time the jets or helicopters have flares or go below the radar and when you eventually manage to hit something they bail out and it doesnt count as destruction.
This challenge has to be made up by someone who never actually plays that stuff.

It was incredibly difficult to do.
Igla does not one shot aircraft. I got so many hits with it and no kills. It's so weak and bad
But okay, you'd think that was good since assists count, too
But the game is still an absolute broken mess so the challenges don't even track lmfao.
5 kills or assists? I got so many assists and the progress bar was not moving lmfao. It took me about 4 days to complete, each day I was forcing myself to play a useless engineer with an igla lmfao. Not only can you not do anything to the enemy with the igla, you also can't do anything to the ground armor. And on top of that the challenge does not even track.
And then, when I fianlly got the last kill/assist with it... All I got was a sub-gun
A gun that is beaten in every way by kord, a gun that's already meta. except the VCR does a little but more damage per shot, but that does not matter when you have 10 billion more recoil and 10 billion less accuracy than the kord lmao
I only wanted that gun because it's a rifle based on a Croatian one, since I am from Croatia. But I regret that grind and I regret pushing myself to use the VCR since it's pretty useless. There is a reason you don't see it in the game anymore
Do yourself a favor, ignore the challenge and if you want to use an AR, just use KORD.

No. Because challenges still don't track. You're quite unaware if you thing that playing on Tsuru Reef will be an easy task for completing this challenge.
Not only are majority of cheaters going for this map, but the challenges still don't track properly. So there is absolutely no guarantee that the OP will have an easy time completing this challenge on Tsuru Reef.

Yeah I can confirm best way to do this challenge is on that new naval map, because there is air units ... EVERYWHERE ...
I did it in 4 matches, but air units hunting only. First match 2/5. Second match nothing although I destroyed 1 jet, but it did not count. Third match 3/5 and fourth match 5/5.
Killing air units is really a pain in the a.., because it is really ridiculous how fast they can reset their flairs -.- it seemed to me that they reloading their flairs faster than I reload my IGLA ... ridiculous^10.
Stupid is also how a helicopter can fly low and not being able to get locked on anymore EVEN if I am right below this helicopter. WTF is that? I was killed 8 times in a row by the same heli maniac, because I was not able to lock on just because he was "too low", but still 10 meters above my head. That's just plain stupid.
