So, ran into a n interesting bug today.
I was able to revive any of my teammates -- yes, those not in my squad -- while as an Assault. I double and triple checked. I was able to put down a spawn beacon, but I was able to revive a non-squad mate.
So this is how I think it happened:
- Previous round, I was a Support. (Tsuru Reef. Different mode)
- New round starts (countdown almost complete when I join).
- I switch to Assault using the Y button (change class after game starts button?)
- Then carry on as usual.
As teammates start falling over, I see the blue icon to revive. I try it. It works.

Just had it happened again earlier today. My first game of the day was with recon but I could revive people. Tested it again. Couldn't grab a good screenshot because I got killed after. Am I seriously the only one experiencing this?

There is another thread on this, the typical way it happens is to pick up a Support kit in game, if you then pick your old kit back up, say assault, you can then revive anyone on the team, not just squad.

So you are snitching on yourself for purposefully exploiting and abusing a glitch? Is that what you are saying?

Ah that's different than my scenario. I spawn in with the ability to revive despite being another class. Confirmed for Recon, Assault, and just now Engineer. Goes away once I respawn though, even if I don't change class.

Only if the downed team-mate is in your squad. This bug allows you to revive any random team mate.
