The controls that EA has made up are absolutely terrible. i dont understand how they want people to use the air vehicle with out giving any tutorials. The controls are just terrible for the PC.

sounds ridicules. After having played hundreds of video games i can see EA made no real attempt to make is easier for players in this game to fly an air vehicle. Like playing Halo for instance ive had 0 issues like this. Why the heck should players be expected to chnage controls anyway. just make a good game

use WSAD and the ARROW keys in the same time

WSAD is used to lift-up and down as well as to strafe left and right, the ARROW keys are used to turn left and right as well as to lower and higher vehicle's nose, to gain momentum or to break it
so as an example, to push forward you hit "W + ARROW UP"
"W" keeps you up while "ARROW UP" adds momentum (nose down)
vice versa to land is "S + ARROW DOWN"
slowly tip "S" and slowly tip "ARROW DOWN" as it breaks momentum (nose up)
you need to be careful here, so if you land the Pondhawk or any Helicopter, you need to up their nose on a slow velocity
"W + ARROW DOWN" (nose up) pushes upwards onto a skyscraper, but be careful
to flee left it is "W+A+ARROW UP+ARROW LEFT" + defensive maneuvers
to flee right "W+D+ARROW UP+ARROW RIGHT" + defensive maneuvers
this is action, you will get used to it and love it
the action comes in a helicopter if being attacked by any anti-air, then to use WSAD and the ARROW keys to escape quick .. i love it. or if no anti-air is nearby you can slowly cycle around a POI and act as a gunship, epic
in game settings there is an option which autoamtically sticks you in mid-air, enable it, then for cycling you just need to tip "A+LEFT" or "D+RIGHT" and sometimes the W+UP combo to gain momentum or S+DOWN to break it
begin to train and master an air vehicle as the Pondhawk, then the UH-60, later attack helicopters and so on
for jets or the nightbird helicopter, you can use WSAD and the mouse which is harder as you need to set sensitivity settings for aircraft in options menu. there also is a setting which automatically enables the boosters. enable or disable this setting
i love to fly the Pondhawk to rush in a start of a match, or to sneak-in on and by boarderlines, it is a best friend to Blasco .. UH-60 becomes easy too to transport soldiers as well as to act as a spawn location and gunship for your whole team, and if you have learned such mechanics you can start to fly the Huron and Hannibal to drop bombs, later in addition to lock-on and to shoot missiles
a Huron or Hannibal can destroy a vehicle in one instance by shooting 2 missiles, then quickly to switch into stealth mode to drop bombs .. it is a glass cannon in air
The Apache and its counterpart the KA-52 are OP against anything, if no anti-air is nearby .. and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Nightbird is still too OP, especially in a cheater's hands and their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aimbots
