i wanted to play bf again after a long time - i download the game start it and got hit with a secure boot ? what now? - when i bought the game i was able to run it instantly with no problems
and now on the same PC i cant even start it ?

as someone who bought the game when secure boot wasnt needed - i do not want to jump thru hoops and do stuff to be able to play the game
mostly cuz i do not know what i am doing and might brick my PC all together

i saw the post - again i wouldnt have bothered buying the game if i had known that i had to tweak my PC in order to play it
i just want to click on instal button - than click on play button (log in to other services is borthersome but its fine)

as simple as that .. requirements have changed, modified and adapted to todays standards
steam could be installed in early 2000's, today you cannot install Steam on such old hardware anymore, too, as requirements improved
same analogy goes with "Wi-Fi 4" + "WPS-2"
it was safe and secure to run it ~15 years ago .. today a Wi-Fi 4 connection and especially a WPS-2 encryption can be hacked in less than 15 minutes .. absolutely obsoleted and superseded by new tech and current software as drivers and firmwares

i paid money for a game and was able to play it instantly

any PC hardware since Windows 10 and since Windows 7 is capable to run and enable Secure Boot, as long as you can enable it, you are not scammed
during that time you could enable Secure Boot, as mentioned already in one of my shared links, Secure Boot was invented in 2006, already 20
