I mean, A game Called Battlefield 6 launched 8 months ago while BF2042 turns 5yrs old.
Miss BF2042 tho. Loved the mobility

Just play on Portal. Lots of matches in there. Here, this was a few days ago on a 128 map.

Portal does not grant full XP, but limited to no XP at all. Heavily modified servers cause this.
when creating a free and persisting BF2042 dedicated server via Portal, it depends how heavily game settings are edited / modified. therefore is granted between:
FULL XP
MODERATE XP
LIMITED XP
no one plays on portal, as no XP is granted in general .. by selecting a portal server before entering, read its descriptions on the right and check XP income first ..

Nah still plenty playing, but depending on what mode you pick it can take awhile. Just sad we don't have a server browser it was so much better back when that was a thing
