Can't even find a single match. Always empty lobbies

You do realize Steam only tracks Steam players, right?
And since EA doesn't release the data on anywhere I would like to know where did you get this information on the first place.
But no. No troll. Haven't had any empty lobby issues for a few weeks. Not to say you wouldn't have since the game's region locked, so if you're from Oceania or Middle-East for an example I've no doubt that could be your experience. EU, NA and Asia are pretty packed.

It is easy to calculate. Steam has about 65% of PC sales at this moment so around 35% off the players bought it on Origin. Steam has around 2600 player peak (and falling fast).
EA said that player drop-off is the same with steam and Origin wich makes it around 1400 players on Origin so that is 4000 players together.
I play on Europe and none of my friends are finding a lobby, always empty...
I will add that crossplay is turned off

Obviously you won't find people with crossplay off, because it's on on default and everybody has it on. This has been the case since the game was released.
Steam had 900-1300 players on average before the last sale, so you really can't claim the game would have too few players when the numbers are almost doubled.

I sometimes find empty lobbies at 4 a.m. during capture.
I switch to another mode, rush/breakthrough, and there are always people there.
