After playing this BF for some time i have come to the conclusion that BF4 has much more realistic damage outputs for every single piece of weapon all the way down to the knifes. BF1 just seems like they watered down BF4. Yet BF4 online community is dwindling and honestly the maps aren't so good, imo. Its one thing i think BF1 did well but the soft damage coming out of mortars, knifes, grenade launchers, tanks, etc. is just to "unreal" for me. I even play only on the 200% bullet damage servers but still find the game lacking. WW1 was extremely brutal and i expected this game to be as such

Verdun is WW1 but it's veeeeeeryyyy mil-sim vs the arcade shooter style that Battlefield falls into

There are many, but the slower and more simulator-ish the games become the more geriatric and bad the players are, games like Arma are full of roleplayers that dont even engage on PVP they just do some weird military wannabe bs. You will feel like you are playing against bots
