I feel ETQW was the best interpretation of the BattleField Formula;
I'd love a ETQW sequel that broke the formula of that a bit and divvied them up so both factions felt even more unique and asymmetrical; Make the gameplay original; but still slightly inspired by how battlefield functions.

GOG for instance revived & re-released Star Wars Battlefront II (2005). Soon after that we got a re-release on Steam.
BTW. We tried numerous times to contact the rightsholders of ETQW. They didnt answer and dont care about their fanbase.

Who else thinks the 'bug' is the coolest aircraft ever in any video game? I absolutely loved the bug, the way it looks, flies, accelerates, spins, floats, shoots. Amazing. Total blast to play. (I forgot the actual name of it)

was removed from steam a while ago. it's still possible to access the forums for it on steam if you have a direct link or owned the game before it was removed from steam. Idk why it was removed. I'm glad that I own a special edition physical copy of it so it can never die for me. The bot matches keep it alive. objectives & class-based action was always one of my absolute favorite game structures. Enemy Territory Quake Was is one of the best games ever tbh

Straight up might also be prudent to ask "yo, ETQW was pretty dope, can we get a ETQW2 that feels even more unique?"
It was the best "battlefield" style game but I think they could push it even further and make the teams asymmetrical w/ more classes/loadouts (Which makes sense especially if you're dealing with Cybernetic Lovecraftian Horrors)
