Whenever i patch the game suddenly the main menu only displays a small portion, its like its 4x the size of my monitor and getting put out of screen. I tried to input custom launch arguments and it doesn't help. steam version of the exe works but can't game in servers with punkbuster.

When i install either this patch

Is playing with PunkBuster a major requirement for you?
Since it is terribly outdated, would be better to move onto ETLegacy

Thanks for the suggestion i tried ETLegacy but ran into the same issue but i contacted their support team and they suggested i change the compatibility settings of the application in windows to disable high dpi mode and it works great now.
