I used to play this an absolute ton, but it's probably been over 10 years now, and I've forgotten most things. Some refresher guides would be helpful and I'm sure newcomers will appreciate the links too.
For example, I vaguely recall that it's faster to run with your knife out? Is that correct?

Thanks, I'll check it out. It must be another game I've forgotten, maybe it was ETQW, but running with the knife gave you like a 15-20% run speed increase.
