Anyone have any tips on improving frames?
I restart my computer and in a full session of playing multiple different maps I have no issues. I start the game again later and I drop from 70ish to 20, depending what direction I'm facing. So looking away from the map I have no issues and facing the rest of the map I get no frames. I first noticed it on a map with snowy weather, so it might be what starts the problem but changing map doesn't fix it. I think it's the same with rain. Maybe that's why had a full session without issues, if I didn't get a map with weather effects?

Open console and type:
/r_primitives 2
Or try my server:
In serverlist: BEGINNERS WORLD XPSAVE DIABOLIK HDET
In console: /connect 149.202.151.20

Type /r_primitives 2 on the console then /vid_restart ; or you could also use this client made by the community, it works way better than the Steam version ->

It's a problem with the engine itself sadly, not hardware.
