Check the calendar. ET pubs running the new Frostbite rotation all week.
I tried it on two separate machines. When I try to add game to library on Linux native Steam app, button just "weirdly" refreshes and nothing happens - game is not being added.
Anyone else had similar issue?

I was able to play steam ET with proton, but its just better to run game natively with ET:Legacy

Once you get the invalid platform error, go to the library and search for Enemy Territory.
Force the game into proton compatibility mode and bob is your uncle!
