Around 2011 I think. You can still connect to an IP though. TAW plays every Sunday.

Can confirm login server is down. Theres few players tough so you may direct connect "open console ctrl+alt+tilde then type "connect serverip:port"". Theres also a independent server hosted here "tinyurl_com/etqwr "which should work even if the game masterserver remains down

You don't need to re-download the game, just install Windows 10 2004 and you'll be ready to go... Now there's a functionality where you can allow the exe to restart by itself when it needs to, so it will solve the issue once it had about crashing...

I'm still impressed how low TAW can be to share their own servers and their own game modification to anyone that doesn't know about alternative routes... Desperate times?
