I have followed WolfETPlayer's official guide, forwarded the necessary ports in the router, and still cannot get my friend to find my game whether I create a server or host one through the .bat file. Any more up to date advice?

have you guys tried using a virtual lan like Hamachi instead? I use Zerotier and it works really well with other games,haven't gotten around to trying this game with it yet but I imagine it should work just fine

I use Hamachi.
Right click on friends name in Hamachi, copy their IPv4 address.
Load up Rrtcw coop and enable console.
Type Connect and paste or type in the friends IPv4 address.
This works for most games that use the Quake / Source engines

Brilliant. I already use Hamachi for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 recently, so i'll give this a shot sometime. Thanks!
