Just wanted to ask what am I supposed to play to unlock 15 new achievements.

New update is about to release today, if everything is on schedule. We'll have to wait a few more hours to find out.

I am also curious. Even though for me only 5 achievements are new.

To clear up achievements confusion.
There are 15 new.
But for some users 10 of them could be unlocked, because those 10 are using the same IDs with deleted "The Victors" addon achievements. So if those users had them unlocked previously they will have those new achievements with the same ID unlocked too.
As for achievements themselves. 14 of them are related to Malta HQ. 1 is to vanilla level.

Malta HQ is the new hub area in 5.0.

hey, havent found all of them yet but i saw you're missing the get the bartender annoyed one. try going behind the counter where the girl is at the bar to trigger the voice line but do it on the second time around at malta base HQ. it triggered there for me. couldnt get it to pop on the first one.

therefore, as far as I understand, we will be in Malta several times through the main game, and each time there will be some differences?
that means I still have to go through the whole main game again to do all 14 achievements related to malta?

I am missing all 5 new ones. Yeah, I thought that was the way to get it but it didn't pop for me. Its my first time at malta. Do I actually have to play another chapter to get back to malta to be able to get that one? Thats so dumb.

Thats because you already got it due to "Victors" shenanigans.

yeah there are 4 times where you'll get to malta, on chapters 3 4 5 and 6. each time there are some differences and a secret from what i gather. havent fully explore them yet, but yeah as for the bartender it triggered on the second time around malta for me.

also you can start each of the 4 maltas by just choosing new game and one of the respective chapters, if you dont feel like going through all the levels again
