I've tried playing 5 different times in this level and whether its wave 3 or 4, or most recently 5 - it gets stuck on it... i.e. you kill all the enemies and it fails to progress to the next wave, just aimless wandering with the intense music still going as if there's still enemies to kill, but there's not. I actually am excited to go deep into this level, as I like the unlock areas thingy you guys got going to gradually expand the level. However, it just sucks only being able to get to waves 3-5 before it stops progessing.

I found the NPC standing in place behind the crate near the armored truck near the last location. It's always the same spot on every wave and you can barely see the head to shoot while jumping. That issue should be addressed.

I am aware of it and issue was fixed in the developers build. Fix might arrive in form of the patch, but I might delay the fix for the Cursed Sands update.
