Minutes ago, the game updated itself. When the process completed, all saves and progress is missing in both, the original game and the Enemy Teritory. Anyone with a sollution? I had multiple saves in memorable moments and replayed them from time to time.

RealRTCW 5.4 will reset your configs and saves.
But I made a few improvements to the saves/configs system so possible migration and reset wouldnt be so impactful in the future. Other than that sorry for that again. Use the chapter selection menu to get closest to your previous saves as possible!

Same for me with saves and settings. But worse than that every time I finish a level instead of moving to the next level or returning to the menu the game just hard crashes to the desktop. Further, it messes up the graphics on my PC and I have to reboot to get them right again.

I already stated that ALL previous saves won't be compatible. You can't fix it. Its how the game code built around game save system. You do big changes - saves become more incompatible. It is inevitable during active development process.
