I have started keeping a plain text note next to my personal config. Mostly why I changed something and what the old value was. Future me apparently has no memory. What else is worth writing down?

Resolution and mouse settings, plus the date. I once spent an evening blaming a sensitivity change when I had moved to a different display setup.

A short list of changes I tried and reversed. Otherwise I rediscover the same uncomfortable keybind every few months.

Adding a reverted section now. My repeated attempt to use the same thumb button for everything deserves its own chapter.
