What is it about 2042 that kept my attention and made we want to continue playing over what bf6 is doing. anyone else feeling the same?

Bf6 season 4 came out a few weeks ago now and while the reintroduction of naval combat is great I’ve already moved onto other games. Back during 2042s life I found myself playing tons more even after the season launch and having way more fun. What is it? It can’t be the lack of content for bf6 because 2042 had one map per season. It’s like a new season for bf6 comes out and a week later im burnt out again. Anyone else feel this way?
