WARDOGS is exactly the blueprint EA needs if they want to do yearly Battlefield spin offs

preview

If you haven't seen Bulkhead's Wardogs yet, it’s a massive wake up call for EA. It perfectly blends tactical mechanics with pure sandbox chaos: 100 players, an in match cash economy, base building, and heavy destruction.

If EA insists on yearly releases, they need to adopt this cycle:

Mainline Years: Give us the classic, pure Battlefield experience. Don't rush it.

Off-Years: Drop a spin-off built around Wardogs mechanics.

EA is a multi-billion dollar company; they have the engine and resources to do this flawlessly. Imagine a Frostbite-powered game where your squad pools earned cash to call in a tank or build a reinforced forward base in a 3-faction war.

It’s the perfect way to deliver something mechanically fresh and tactical without losing the all out war essence of Battlefield. Stop burning out devs on the main titles and start taking real gameplay risks in the off years
