Just got on after a year and they still have cheaters running around like crazy. Making a Warzone account actually cost something but decrease the amount of cheaters. Also, what the hell was the point of “secure boot” and TPM 2.0 when shit didn’t even help the cheater problem

There is 100% not cheaters running around like crazy. Over the past few years I could count the times I have been killed in a sus way on one or maybe two hands. It is not even close to how it used to be. When you die look off to the right of your screen and it will show if you were live pinged or on uav or something. Often those things may make it look like someone has walls but in reality you were live pinged or something.

TPM is mostly about cheaters, it's about circumventing your control over your computer.

I feel the same way. Maybe I’m just ignorant but a lot of my deaths are either me losing a gun fight outright or me doing something regrettably stupid.

I don’t play 8hrs a day.

But in the times I do play, I rarely see suspicious gameplay that affects my gameplay or game.

I don’t dispute there are cheaters, but it’s nowhere near what bad players think it is.

There are not nearly as many cheaters as some like to think, and most that do exist get banned pretty quickly. People just throw out accusations unbelievably quick. I suck and spend most of my time in casuals and still get called a cheater at least once a week lol

I rarely see cheaters, I think aim assist just looks like cheating when good players use it well. It's really just that good.

Arc Raiders is a 40 dollar game with lots of cheaters. Cheaters have ways of getting very cheap accounts anytime they are banned.

The cheater ratio is roughly 6 players per 100 reals. And that's blatant cheating. So there very well could be a few more who are quiet and good at covering their tracks (or just still suck at the game regardless of cheats).

If you are an all day jammer you are for more likely to cross a cheater than the true casual hop on and play 2 or 3 rounds after work once or twice a week player.

I don't think it really matters what you play on because rumor has it activision is dependent on cheaters to keep the anticheat loophole/pay load coming.

I think it's a mixture of:

A.) CoD fans have a real ego problem, and they'll blame everything and anything about why they aren't performing as well as they want to, the only exception is being their own skill. Which causes a ton of confirmation bias, and every example of an obvious cheater is used to as a example of how rampant they are. They when in all actuality, they're the aren't as common as people think.

B.) People really don't know how generous Aim Assist is, so they don't know how to discern aimnotting over someone knowing how to abuse RAA.

I've received hackusations multiple times, once even from my own teammates. Hackers aren't as big of a problem as people are willing to admit.

What modes do you play? I rarely see cheaters when I play public match resurgence which I feel is the most played mode at this point. Vastly different experience in ranked play. My iridescent lobbies have atleast 1 cheater every other game. Big map Warzone is a hit or miss. Hackers were running rampant when the nukes were re released, now I see a hacker maybe once every 5-10 games. I think a lot depends on mode and sbmm.

Soley resurgence, that being said, I have taken a break to finish my camo grind, I am 3 weapons away from completion, so my experience may not be relevant anymore.

Good luck sir! I have been in and out of the camo grind. Not for the weak. You shouldn’t have any issues in resurgence. The player count is so high that the hackers are completely drowned out. There’s also not much incentive for hackers in that mode outside of the 50 win streak camos which I doubt they have the motivation to grind out.
