I saw that MW2 got a fix on PC that addresses the RCE exploits. Has anyone tried it out yet? I wanna hop back in, but I'm pretty gun shy. Lemme know if it's safe or not.

I recommend to not risk it unless you have a PC with no valuable data or can run MW2 in a virtual machine. The exploits have reportedly been patched at least once in the past, but they quickly reappeared.

The RCEs are fixed but there are still plenty of hacked lobbies. The game is fun if you're lucky enough to get a lobby without any losers trying to mod the game.
