So I've already played Modern Warfare II and Black Ops Cold War, and while I really enjoyed and liked Cold War, it's sadly starting to show its age with poor connections to the servers. Now I know Black Ops 7 is the worst thing to ever exist, so that's why I'm wondering if I should buy Black Ops 6. I heard multiplayer is pretty good and that it mixes the fast-paced nature of Cold War with the modernity of Modern Warfare II.

not now, if you really want a new cod get bo7. why do you think bo7 is the worst thing to exist? the common consensus is its better than bo6. most ppl who say bo6 is better are ppl who didnt buy or play bo7 and just hate whatever is new. not that bo7 is some masterpiece but still

Multiplayer is pretty good but it's been superceded by BO7. The number of people playing will only fall.
The BO7 campaign was pretty good. But this close to the release of MW4 I suspect there will be a price drop on BO6
Alternatively, get a month of GamePass and try it out before committing to buying

It's ok, but I liked bo7 more. I'd just wait for mw4 or try something else, unless it's really cheap. The gears of war eday beta is open for everyone right now until Monday, that's really fun
