New AA feel weird

I have a problem, and it’s with Warzone’s Aim Assist. Just to clarify, I’ve always been a controller player. The problem is that with this new update, I feel like the Aim Assist is way too strong compared to how it was about two months ago, which was the last time I played. I stopped playing because I didn’t have a controller, and now that I’ve come back, the AA feels stronger than ever.

Even when trying to track enemies, it’s really annoying because the aim sticks way too much, and I can’t move it freely toward the head or make quick adjustments while aiming. It literally gets stuck on the chest. Sometimes the aim just slows down, which is obviously the result of the AA, but it slows down so much that it becomes impossible to properly track the enemy.

And at long distances, it’s even worse. I barely move the joystick and it continues following the enemy, which is really uncomfortable for me.

Does anyone else who plays on controller feel the same way, or is it just me? I’ve never experienced Aim Assist like this before. It’s way too uncomfortable for me. I remember that even two months ago, I could track enemies really well. I could move my aim up toward the chest, follow enemies quickly or slowly, and my aim just felt much more natural.

Now, on the other hand, it feels horrible to me. The Aim Assist feels so strong that I feel like I’ve lost a lot of control over my own aim.

You're tripping dawg

The aim assist was different inside the mw4-wz beta which is gone now and was on a different app so it wouldn't affect regular (bo7) warzone at all

Same here, I switched from controller to KBM and now coming back to it feels like someone turbocharged the magnetism on my sticks.

Or maybe you just have better aim now? Aim assist hasn't changed at all

Placebo or something, the aim assist has not changed in Bo7 Warzone for months. Beta did have a different AA level (more imo) but regular Bo7 wz feels completely normal to me

You are describing the early MW4 Beta aim assist, during the first weekend.

BO7 aim assist hasn't changed at all so perhaps your new controller has some differences that make it so.

One example, lowering the stick resolution in a GameSir Pro controller while clocking at 4k hz gives you more aim assist than higher stick resolution.

I don't understand why it does technically, but it does. Maybe the game Algo for aim assist interprets lower stick resolution as needing more assistance or something.

I hate how AA feels, that's why I swapped over to Gyro with my steam controller when I got it

When I logged in today, the AA was reduced. I used to play without and it was like that at close range with an SMG and I was wondering if it was a bug since there wasn't an announcement.
