They didn’t fully remake bo1/2 just ported them to ps4/5. People are mainly playing those games. But a lot of the newer cods are still pretty populated, think the new MWIII got a bit of a player spike recently.

For zombies bo3 on pc

For multiplayer bo2 on ps5

Black ops 1 and 2 for Nostalgia.
MW3 (2023),BO6,BO7 for not too old but not too recent call of duty that will give you some matches
MW4 to play something that is going to supported since it is the new one coming out.

However, which one to choose?
IMO whatever you find fun… look at gameplay and decide what you find to be more enjoyable.

MW19 for me. Started on MWIII but the ttk is awful

does mw19 have an active player base still?

MWIII because I'm trying to platinum it (any help on zombies is appreciated), but I also play Infinite Warfare for Zombies.

It's active enough to find games in all the main modes. Hardcore matchmaking is broken though and SnD has some hackers.

It's only £3 here in the UK (CeX). Can't go wrong with that lol

I'm loving playing WW2, mostly just playing Shipment 1944 because it's the most insane fun I've ever had in a multiplayer FPS. The zombies mode is super underrated as well, I love just casually doing the EE in public lobbies.

I bought the ports of BO1 & BO2 but am taking advantage of the player spike in MWIII since it was just on plus. Been loving it so far.

World war 2 mostly, on Xbox. Servers still very active during the day, still get games during later hours but you can get stuck in 8/10 player lobbies sometimes
