Hello! I’m Jay (M32) I’m looking for 3-4 players to join a sandbox campaign I’ve been working on. The setting is dreary but not full grim dark. The campaign will roughly go from 1-8, with room to expand. Days and time will be set by what works for the group. We will use Discord for voice, Roll20 for VTT, and D&D Beyond for character sheets.

Be building on top of it as we go. Your characters lore, where they come from, people that were in their lives , and what they were/are shape this setting. Joining this campaign is not only creating a character and playing but allowing your character to help creating the world by bring in their history. I’m looking for players that have characters/ideas with rich backstories, good details, and an eye for world building. Session 0 will be a must attend and is arguably the most important session you’ll play in this campaign.
I am using 5e 2014 content for DMing this campaign, not counting a couple of Homebrew stat blocks, so the players will be expected to build their characters with the same content. Anything that goes beyond that can be discussed. I do want a balanced group as to help flesh out the setting.
Info about your DM: I’ve been a DM for 5 years, on and off. I’ve run several modules Rime of the Frost Maiden, Curse of Strahd, Tyranny of Dragons, Wild Beyond the Witchlight, etc. I’ve run one homebrew game in the past that capped out at level 10. My introduction to D&D was through Critical Role that I picked up during the pandemic. So I am a DM that embraces the acting side of the game.
