Can't Marvel just take SPIDER-NOIR to another platform like Netflix?

Or is Spider-Noir legally bound to Amazon?

I imagine they wouldn't sign an exclusivity deal considering they made that mistake with X-Men and kind of ruined that IP. The MCU is gonna have to do a lot to rehabilitate the X-Men's image in the minds of a general audience and make them likable again.

One season was good enough not everything has to keep going.

We don’t need multiple seasons of everything. One was great.

Bad timing since everyone seems to have just cancelled their Netflix accounts. So, no.

That's why im glad they stopped after the Matrix. It was much smarter to stop at one, but I was always worried it would tarnish movie if they tried to make sequels.

Marvel have nothing to do with Spider Noir. It's Sony production, they choose to work with Amazon on this project

Sony, not Marvel. Spider-Man live-action and movie rights are owned by Sony, it's unrelated to MCU or Disney.

This was always supposed to be a miniseries. But to answer your question, NO. Sony is in deal with Amazon and they can't take their show to their rivals.

With the Spider-Man universe being owned by Sony, it would probably be easier to license it elsewhere than with the Disney franchises. But, I suspect they won't because season 1 would still be an Amazon exclusive, so the series would be split, with Netflix having to send customers to their biggest competitor to watch season 1.

Also, you have to ask why it was cancelled. I'd guess the viewing figures just weren't there. So, why would Netflix invest money into something that their competitor cancelled for not making them money?

The show isn't even made by Marvel. It's a Sony show.

Also doesn’t mean a second season couldn’t be great if they have an incredible idea. It doesn’t have to be because everything gets multiple seasons that this shouldn’t.

But I agree that one season is plenty and they shouldn’t feel an obligation to do another season on any platform if they don’t have a special idea.
