As the title says I’m hard stuck. I’d love any advice on how to get out of this pit. I’m somewhat new to the game but I was an amateur cod player years ago made a good chunk of change off of it. Needless to say I have very good game sense. I have played tons of practice matches and I feel my aim is very strong. But the problem is always my teammates. Am I just hard stuck forever? I drop 30 kills and lose half the time. I’d say I’m decent but there’s no way I clutch my way to 10k+.

My aim sucks and i can climb out of 5k elo and have done it many times solo que. Its just reps. The game isnt all about kills. I dont ever drop 30 kill games but i win more than i lose so i climb. Until i get stuck which is where i belong

Post your account, there is literally no chance youre dropping 30\~ kills per game and losing more than you’re winning. Its just absurd.

Hello! Im sitting around 12K right now and I recently just stepped into the CS spot light myself. And I mainly solo que. That's in every game I play so I know the frustration in bad teammates. Unlike you my aim is decent I don't frag like crazy but I consistently place in between 1st and 3rd. Some things I'll share some things I brought over to cs to help my gameplay overall. While you can't control who pick some things I picked up that's a major game changer is positioning, sometimes you have to play off of your team when there is no harmony between your guy's comp. Set yourself up in a position where it forces your teammates to watch a certain angle or if your the frag play off their life. Sometimes you have to do both. Most people needs someone to lead specially at lower elo lobbies simply because they aren't confident or just doesn't have the game sense to put somethings together. Simple things like.
"Hey orange I need you to play here and if they start pushing use util and stall"
"Yo hold my crossfire purple and green watch for the flank from CT since they always have one on rotation."

Even if your team isn't in sync you giving consistent call outs guaranteed some sort of feedback from your teammates. Unless they are really just selling then theres not much you can do about that.

Then again you might just be in elo hell frl. I hope this helps coming from someone who's at a similar elo rating.

Your Profile link is by clicking the dropdown at the top right of Steam (the launcher) there's an arrow next to your name, click it and then click "Go to Profile" then the link in the address bar is your profile link. Copy it and paste it here.

For demos - you go to the main menu inside CS2 - top left is a TV Screen. Click that - click your last Prem game (preferably a loss that you tried hard on on a technical map like Mirage or Nuke, or Cache) and then in the bottom right is a "Share This Link" click that and paste it here too.

"Very good" gamesense and "very strong" aim?

Yes, you will always lose games sometimes because of teammates, thats just how team games go.

But you should also drop the ego and acknowledge that you simply can't have strong aim and game sense and be locked at 5-10k premier.

Keep playing and practicing and you will climb.

Getting out of 10k was the hardest thing for me. Seasons 1 & 2 I wasn't super competitive at \~12-15k elo. I decided to de-rank. Worst decision. Two season I couldn't get out of 10k. I'd get to the 10k rank up game, loose 10 games in a row only to get back to 6k. My games were chaos. Like you, I was constantly getting 20-30 kills, with teammates that were leaving mid game or getting just 1 or 2 kills, or against a player with 200 hours doing 40+ kills. The ranking system is broken. With a positive win rate I was going down in rating. I've literally had 5 wins in a row, 2 loses after and I was worse off. This season, I put a lot of effort on the first unranked games - warm up before playing, 2 games per day. Ranked \~15k. Now at \~18k.

You can't have very good game sense and very strong aim while being hardstuck at under 10K.

Stop coping, stop blaming everything but yourself and look at your gameplay honestly. If your gamesense and aim would be on point 30 IMPACT kills are enough to carry yourself easy out of it, you don't even need that many. You are doing useless kills if they don't translate to wins.

Warm up in aim training for 5-10min before every session. You dont have good aim or game sense whatsoever in under 10k lol thats delusional.

I came back to cs in sept 2025. got ranked 7-8k in premier. I go to aim trainer practised my crosshair placement, spray control, counter strafing. 10-20min before every session. Went from 8k to 18k in 4-6months. Then I hit a wall where I couldnt grind or carry me further with aim alone so I learned every standard smokes and some flashes on every map. Reached 21k last season. Now I am at 23-24k and get too many cheaters and switched to faceit. There I mostly play with friends duo or 3+ and I am around lv 8 1700elo at 150 matches. Game sense comes with playing the game. Aim is what you can train. Have 700hours csgo and now 700 in cs2 accumulated in one year. Getting out of <10k was the hardest thats very much true and took the longest. But now I can say that I would shit on these lobbies.
