My Windows 11 laptop is connecting to the wifi but keeps saying “no internet”. I am having this issue across multiple wifi connections (I visited my parents for a weekend and it’s not working at their house either). All other devices are connected just fine. I’ve tried forgetting the wifi and reconnecting, updating the laptop, and restarting multiple times to no avail. Please help!!

Open cmd, type ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew. This allow DHCP server to assign you a different IP.

Since it happens on multiple Wi-Fi networks, the problem is probably on the laptop rather than the routers. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

Then restart the laptop. If it still shows “No internet,” check Settings > Network & internet > Proxy and make sure no manual proxy is enabled. You can also try Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset as a last step. Microsoft recommends network reset when the usual troubleshooting steps don't resolve the connection.

You should see something like

Non-authoritative answer:

If you get errors like "DNS request timed out", then you have manually set DNS servers (which should be removed if you don't know why they're there)

since it’s happening on multiple wifi networks I’d suspect the laptop rather than the router. try opening CMD as admin and run netsh winsock reset, netsh int ip reset and ipconfig /flushdns, then restart. if that still doesn’t fix it I’d reinstall the wifi adapter driver or try Windows’ network reset.
