I have Firefox downloaded for a while now, yet suddenly whenever I click on it now it does not run the file. What could I do? Thanks in advance 🙏

Install it from your distro's repository, and if it even doesn't run, try to run from terminal for verbose error messages.

Then why did you download Firefox?

You need to install it, not just download it.

I've had it installed for a solid year, it was working perfectly fine but now it's not budging ;-;

Start with opening a terminal and issue the command which firefox You should see something similar to this

~ $ which firefox
/usr/bin/firefox

If you don't, show us what you do get. If you do then try firefox -safe-mode in the terminal and see if it starts.

And also please tell us which Linux distribution you are using (or type uname -a in a terminal and copy the output) because the advice may differ slightly.

Video help can be good but it does depend on what distribution you are using. As you haven't said yet you can find a selection by going to YouTube and putting "install firefox linux" in the search box and see if something comes up that matches your Linux.

However, when you're here asking for support, there are some best practices. Note that you were asked more than once to try to invoke it from the terminal and report the error messages. Why was this not done?
