It keeps getting worse update after update and I'm tired boss, I'm tired of constantly trying to paint targets but the game CONSTANTLY TRIES TO DEPLOY/PLANT the SOFLAM. I'm losing my mind with this untested gadget that's supposed to help equalize the air/ground balance.

And then people wonder why the Little Bird and vehicles in general dominate, because the literal foundation of what's supposed to create balance is FUNCTIONALLY BROKEN.

It BAFFLES ME that no one tested this and thought huh, maybe if you're zoomed in, DEPLOY/PLANTING should NOT be possible.

2042's SOFLAM had problems too by literally ignoring targets right in front of you, now in BF6 the SOFLAM automatically tries to plant when trying to paint targets.

The only way to use the SOFLAM without losing your mind, is to plant it, defeating half of its utility.

The only vehicle that dominates is the little bird. Every other vehicle is easily handled, and anyone that says otherwise is just bad

Shooting the soflammed targets was my favorite thing since BF3 days, yet I don’t remember doing it in BF6 thanks to soflam indicator gets lots behind obstacles and the time limit. TLDR; useless piece of shit smh

For me, the issues with Soflam is that there is so few weapons that takes advatange of it.
Sure it's lower lock on time, but in 2042 it was great that you could lock onto it with RPG/M5 that is unguided normally.
Today, most people run around with RPG or the wireguided one. There is no need for Soflam then. Javelin is so bad that no one is using it for ground vehicles. Rest runs around with already anti air

Plus no damage bonus when used. All it does is distract whoever is targeted by spotting/marking the SOFLAM user better than the SOFLAM target.

I disagree lil bird can be taken down like all the rest...

The way it tries to deploy while aiming is really annoying and it's frustrating that it's not been fixed.

The Javelin is fantastic on open maps.

The only people who say its bad are the ones who try to use it on maps like Cairo where the sightlines are narrow.

This. Try it on Firestorm, these tank campers shit their pants once you bomb their ass with few Javelin missiles

I've used it on Firestorm and Mirak. I've haven't used it since Tsuru Reef or Wake came out. Might try it again then
