Its not acceptable for a game comepany like ea to not fix a fucking issue destroying the whole game for 2 months. Unreal. This was my fav game

EA's solution: "Check the logs yourself, tell us which servers are broken, and maybe we'll fix them."

This is a case of trying to kill two birds with one stone using a legal method; reducing costs by shutting down servers (not all of them, of course) and overwhelming players to steer them towards another BF game (BF6). What they haven't considered is that, despite having bought BF6, they've earned the hatred of someone who prefers playing BF2042. Will I buy BF7? Honestly, I highly doubt it.

If a game becomes unplayable, steam could refund it. Happened with me and Borderlands 3. Played 100+ hours and got a full refund because the game was failing to launch for weeks, including after several reinstalls.

i'd also like to inform you that DICE once broke the BF1 servers for all of oceania/au/nz - so literally no-one could play. And it took them 3-4 months to bother fixing the issue.

I don’t have 2042 but what is this issue and why it’s not affecting everyone? Also what cpu you have ? If intel and its a 13-14 gen i might have the fix for you. Some intel gen tend to induce a lot of weird things. The fix is easy. I was having crash to desktop i. Bf6 and black screen of death. The finals wasn’t loading is cache and freeze in game sometimes. Was saying i did not have enough vram even if i got 1000 hours on the game. Icon on desktop sometimes would have a black scare under them when overing my mouse over after a crash. It start only with some freeze in the finals a couple month ago and bf6 crashing sometimes. Crash and freeze in both game was not even once a week at first and then became almost every day in the final with the errors i said before and at the end it was every second game in bf6 i was crashing the pc to desktop or black screen of death with an ea antocheat as the faulty in the crash dump. Did everything to fix it and finally found what was the real thing happening on my pc wasn’t ea fault this time. The little fix resolved every error i got like the black screen of death, freeze, shader cache stuck at 99% for weeks and crash i was having. Update your bios. It sounds risky but a lot of mobo have dual bios. You almost cannot brick a pc nowadays. It take 5 min and is pretty straightforward even for someone not really into tech and just a regular user. I got more things that can help for 13-14gen intel but this is long enough

Xbox and its not always its random and not for everybody at the same time it could be working for me now but not in 1 hour, but the breaktrough Mode dont work since 2 months for me

Have you tried a different tv ? Just wondering if it’s an hdmi issue and another tv or monitor might resolve it .

Yeah I can't play BF6 cause my PC can barely run 2042 but I love it so I endure. I was gonna get BF6 once I built my new PC but I think I'll pass. If this is what I can expect from EA to do to their customers, I'll just stick to literally any other game. EA has to be the most predatory company in the gaming space.
