Yes, it may not feel like a true battlefield, but as a game in general, it feels really solid especially with the big discount right now. I like the big maps and vehicles over BF6, I think people should give it a chance.

Nope - it was an extremely fairly rated BF game: not great. not awful. not consistent. a bit of an ugly stepchild.

It's being looked back on more fondly at the moment almost exclusively because BF6 has fundamentally failed to deliver the large scale combined arms experience we've all come to expect from the Battlefield franchise.

I agree I’m of the mindset that if this game and hardline didn’t have the BF name it would be looked at a great shooter game. Instead most people didn’t care for either of those titles.
I personally really enjoyed 2042 had some good maps and portal was great.

Seriously portal is fantastic I really wish they would fully lean into and support the portal experience, it’s not an add on so I wish they would stop treating it as such.

Better than 6 by almost every metric.

I like that you can actually see the enemy, snappy gunplay, polished graphics, (the lighting and colors in 6 just seem off).. and proper maps, not just a shoebox.
