I’m looking to rent a server but I don’t want to throw money in the trash so I’m hoping to drum up some player count here and get suggestions on popular game modes.

Gud luck trying to rent a server in 2026 man, if yer on console at least—there are times that when you rent a server it won't show up on yer rent list to start it or even get in what you've payed for... EA will just steal yer money.

I mean I started with the one day and have a friend with admin rights who can also see it and join. I’ve had up to 5 players in less than 30 minutes of it being active, not great but better than expected

The only downside is that it’s ranked and not official for faster vehicle/player spawns

Renting a server is indeed throwing money in the trash, at this point in the games lifecycle

I would save your money, in all honesty renting a server in this day and age unless you’ve been established for years will 9/10 times never work

I mean it’s a vice honestly, people spend more in fast food I’m just looking for some kind of return. If there’s no support here I won’t spend the money but for a BF4 subreddit you guys are downers already lol

can i suggest making your server large conquest but no helicopter / jets allowed? if you do so i will play in your server everyday

The game has been all but dead for about a year now. You’ll be lucky to have anyone but yourself in the server.

I'd welcome a server that isn't hard-core or 24/7 maps that is now the only thing I'm running into even that tyrant buckllc #1 kills server has a great rotation but it's rarely populated but the #2 always is and the rotation is terrible. Who wants to constantly play fucking locker all day? I'd prefer a server with the ENTIRE rotation including the DLC stuff.
