I have been slowly but surely working on the different weapons I happen to like. Finally reached 50 on my SOR. Have 40 on my AK4D as I have kind of hit on the way I like to play and use it. And recently got into using the Kord a bit more too. Here is a few of my examples and my bits of notes I made for them for myself. Should be fun to see what others have come up with. I play all classes but mostly Assault and Recon, with more Engineer than Support mixed in. Just a fair amount of Breakthrough, Conquest and Escalation mostly, no Red Sec. I particularly like ARs, so those are the ones I'm sharing that I have been enjoying lately.

I've been trying weapons that pushed me away at first because of recoil with these new supressors. Very fun stuff also the hip fire lmgs. Never liked much hip firing in any game but I am having fun with the play style this season

I have found the new ones quite fun and useful on the carbines, but I tend to save those for engineer and I end up using them less often in general. I do like the M227 on my Recon though, Iron Sights on close quarters is a fair amount of fun for me!

It's absolute cheese but frangible is incredibly underrated across the board. It changes the regen time from 5s to 9s. Combined with a DMR adding a decent amount of suppression even on misses you can effectively and easily keep people out of the fight even if you don't kill them. They'll just sit behind cover for 20s finally pop out with 15hp and you'll 1 tap them.

The m250 as an lmg with it is disgusting. If you're feeling campy, bipod, thermal, frangible, suppressor, extended barrel.

On some spots on maps you can basically hold off choke points against half the team by yourself.

Yeah, I find I'm more successful in a similar playstyle with Support. LMGs for suppressing and holding, with the different trophy systems as needed. Not good at running in front and getting rezzes, but putting a wall, trophy and ammo down for everyone behind me to use and trying to hold a bit of property is the way I dive in. Like the sound of the frangible for assists too.

If you liked the SOR 556 you should use the SOR 300. That thing is a damn beast

I'll keep it in mind! I had it in mind for making a close to mid range that I can slot in across all 4 classes. I know it's open weapons, but I tend to keep to BF4 system, and usually used carbines on Engineer and more close range Recon, and found a fav I used across all classes.

B36 is my favourite gun in the game and the new suppressors made it even better imo

M433 with the extended barrel, 30 point hybrid suppressor, and 45 point stubby grip. Tames the recoil really well and turns it into a monster at close to mid range.

Similarly, VCR with the 30 point hybrid suppressor, 10 point basic barrel, 35 point classic foregrip, and aftermarket recoil buffer is really fun.

P90 with the 50 point hybrid suppressor has been fun.

I’m running a cqb high mobility class with the SOR 300sc. It’s not going to win head on unless extremely close range so need to change playstyle to be more sneaky guerrilla style and I am having a blast!

I love the AK4D, I just don't use the match trigger, never liked it. If I could though, my AK4D would have the 6x thermal on it, but sadly it is only for dmrs and snipers.

Hip fire close combat I've been going VCR-2 as it shreds and keeps 26 damage out to 10yrds with higher bullet velocity at a 4 bullet kill where everything else that speed falls off at 10yds with slower bullet velo and is 5 bullet kill minimum. Still decently accurate out further at higher damage than carbines, atrocious bloom and recoil past 20yds though lol.

Used the BROD a lot but I'm finding the GRT-BC better at the moment.

I've found all the new suppressors largely useless except when leveling a weapon as there are better loadouts with the other suppressors most of the time.
