These slew of maps are the best DICE has ever done post launch wise

Everything from Eastwood on has been a good map. I can't think of a single Battlefield where every post launch map was this good (excluding Blackwell, but it's getting reworked into probably a good map.)

Most dlc maps in the past were never near as memorable as the base game maps save for a few of them. Now almost all the post launch maps are outshining the launch maps

What you mean you don’t remember the spectacular maps that were China Rising or the remasters that actually justified bf4 being called bf 3.5?

Yeah I actually love it. It doesn’t exactly play the best, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and my favorite map vibes-wise

Man DLCs in BF3/4/1 were a lottery. They could be pretty good or the worst thing ever and every DLC had at least one or two terrible maps.

I agree. We need to wait for season 5 but 3 maps + the reworks… it’s going to be one hell of a season, I can wait.

I played that map recently and if you just stick to the biggest objective, the experience is not that bad.

I didn't realize Low Sodium just meant DICE glazing 24/7. I thought it just meant don't complain like the main sub

It really depends on the mode. On conquest and rush it’s, imo, great. In breakthrough is largely horrible until the last sector and depending on the team even that sector can be cheeks. Otherwise love the art direction for it.

Some people have opinions that differ from you, it doesn't make it glazing

There's plenty of complaining here, hell join our discord pinned at the top of the sub and find out for yourself. It's just voiced in a way where we never call the devs "lazy" or "passionless" like some other places.

But we also give credit where it's due, and there is absolutely credit due to the massive jump in quality for the post-launch maps.

Even Fort Lyndon was technically a post launch maps and slaps even if you're not a big BR fan (I'm certainly not). If DICE cleaned up Gulf of Lyndon a little bit, used the official UI/flag timings, and shrunk the boundaries a bit, it would be
a great addition to the map pool for people who are longing for that missing hige urban map.

I actually don’t mind it completely but I 100% understand the complaints.

The map boundaries do no favors and feel very limiting, they have this whole hilly area but pretty much one ridge dominates it all because of how restrictive it is. It’s called Blackwell Fields but really it should be called Blackwell Bowls because the flags are just surrounded by these inclines that are backed up by the edge of the map. The flags themselves are whatever, pretty uninteresting overall. I just found that it’s one of the worst maps for traversing from flag to flag.
