Question for helicopter pilots with a lot of hours?

I mainly fly scout heli but I guess attack pilots can answer this one also

When I try to wait for the scout heli to spawn, in the place that it does spawn, while holding down the button to get it. A lot of times some random player will come after I’ve been waiting and get it before me

Is there a spot that if your are there you always get the scout helicopter no matter what?

If there is, where exactly should I position myself, on the side, front…?

Or does latency come into play and a lower latency will always beat you to it?

I get in from respawn menu. Spamming space and left click.

It’s desynch, it’s honestly luck in who ever gets it depending on what each player sees on their screen

1.) Dang vehicle camper, go help the team on foot while waiting lol

2.) Spamming space from the respawn menu works a little better imo if you really want that vehicle again. Don’t have to do it the entire time, you can estimate when it based on when it’s destroyed and only do it for the last minute or two. You can also tell when allied pilots are in it or destroyed since when its selected in the spawn menu and you press Pause then you get to see the 1st person vehicle pov in the background of the pause (or a flaming wreck if its destroyed).

You always have a better chance of getting the drivers seat of any vehicle by spawning directly into it.

Rookies in here smh

Best way to get a heli is being there where it spawns, not the spawn screen. If someone else is there next to you it's kinda random but I believe ping has some factor, in my experience I somehow lost frequently to people with more ping than me and my ping was usually like 30

You should also be position close to the front of the heli where the cockpit is. If you're near the tail you might not get the prompt to enter the heli

If you want the best odds to get it from the respawn screen you can bind a chat channel to "enter" which is also a keybind for spawning in. I have team chat bound to enter and while holding down the enter key it will rapidly open and close the chat box which also attempts to spawn you in at the same time

Not true, being at the spawn itself is better

Maybe I have a latency advantage? My ping is usually pretty low. I regularly sit and watch the others waiting on the ground at spawn, and then I beat them to it anyway from the menu.

This. You stand directly in front of the cockpit, to the side at the front as well

This is the correct answer. Being at chopper when it spawns and spamming E will almost always put you in first. There is latency because the game has some milliseconds to realize the chopper has spawned before it shows on spawn screen where if youre already there it saves you that tiny bit of wait. Or at least thats what I assume is happening

Don't even need to spam E, just hold it down. Unless that's what you meant

I agree with the rest tho, I've also thought thats the case

You need to position yourself at an angle so you're closest to the center. Also latency does come into play as well.

It's not like bf4 where you get it every time. In bf6 sometimes someone on the spawn screen can take

I’m standing right next to the cockpit on the side of the pilot seat so I guess I’m getting beat by a lower latency then, that’s annoying

Yeah I’m holding down the button but I’m getting beat by a lower latency it seems, thanks for the comment anyways
