hey. I played on on the PS4 from the release on and stopped about 6 years ago.

I never endorsed an agressive gameplay and ended up beeing a quite average player with a postitive K/D when i lost interest and quit after a couple of hundred hours.

recently i started playing on PC and i find the gameplay waaay more competitive and challenging than on the PS.

i always end up in rounds with heavy unbalanced player numbers with me on the outnumbered side. 4 out of 5 games.

i know the games is quite old and many players are maxxed out and packed with thousands of hours experience but i find myself struggling even against low-level players (i know this can be experienced players with just a new profile; just like me). there happen to be rounds where i can hardly get 5 kills, even 0!

So, is it really THAT diffenrent on PC, or me just getting old after 5 years not playing and having slow reaction time?

Have you played BF6 with crossplay on and crossplay off?
PC players have such a huge advantage it isn’t even imaginable. And I almost exclusively play with crossplay on

i play BF 5 and don't have crossplay afaik

Also some players may be high level on console and switch to
PC. I’m level 470ish on Xbox and went to play on pc for a little bit and was able to average a high KD just because I’ve played the game before. So some low levels on pc could be players from other platforms.

Pub lobbies are more fun on console

With diminishing player counts, you’re playing against more tenured BFV vets. While there are def new players, it’s mostly dominated by the people keeping the servers alive and playing often.

PC is also just the most sweaty by far.

Older games tend to whittle down to the more experienced players after the newcomers lose interest as there's no new content to be had.

That said after the clips I've seen on here, console battlefield V players just seem like some of the worst fps players in any game I've seen (their spatial awareness is just awful, default FoV must be very low?).

Can confirm.i play bfv on xbox. I only play a few hours a week.i have 3 kids,a 50 hour a week job and a gym i go to.im in the top 200 world wide for kd as an infantry assault main.

Lack of directional audio hurts console players a lot.
