Question on a phrase I keep hearing (sorry about the paragraphs)

I rarely touch Reddit so not in touch with the terms but I assume what people mean by this is someone who's a boomer that plays battlefield

But when I see it used it's always when people want the game more grounded and to its core ?

So I'm not getting if it's ment to be an insult because at the end of the day there are people who want it to stick to its core , grounded and some what simple maybe ?

Only because there is a new wave of you that hopped from COD or have played BF since 2042 or something doesn't give you the slightest clue how this game SHOULD BE

Not referring to myself personally (I have played since BC2) but respect the opinions of people that have played this for YEARS , way longer before even I did.

All due respect but some of you need to check BF out when it was at its peak , and see for yourselves what people mean
