You could say the benefits of AR handling for assault are good or the class specific skills for medic etc, but with the amount of tanks and vehicles that are around no other class apart from recons c4 can do any damage worth a damn against them.
On tsuru reef you’re almost forced to otherwise either a tank or little bird will melt you

Yep, and you can run a sniper rifle with it and get the best of both worlds.

Engineer is the best allround class but depending on game mode and map, all other classes have situations where theyre far better.

I love reviving people so medic is my go-to class.

If they gave support c4 again, there would at least be more of a reason to play as it.

As soon as I storm the enemy carrier, I switch to assault.

In breakthrough I play support to smoke and revive, especially on attack, and sometimes recon on defense to spot flanks and destroy spawn becons.

On maps with little to no vehicles I also play assault or support.

There is plenty of incentive to play other classes unless you exclusively play conquest on vehicle-heavy maps, where you obviously need more anti-vehicle tools.

Also a single recon with some claymores and a motion sensor can easily hold the room looking over the carriers mcom, making it extremely easy to defend against multiple enemies.

It's like a good balance of classes is forgotten. Yes engi is good and prob worth to have 1/3 to 1/2 of the team. But mixing in other classes is also worth it.

Assault and spawn beacons, contest objectives way longer and being annoying as hell
Support, revives and resupply your rockets or just ammo
Reacon, tbh the TUG on an objective is king

this is the most ridiculously part of unlocked weapons. People sitting on hills with sniper rifles and rpgs.

If they gave support C4 there would not be a reason to play any other class.

No one actually does that due to sniper penalties.

for the vehicle maps thats pretty much the case. if you dont have rpg or c4 you’re a liability to the team
